Upcoming events
No future events have been scheduled yet.

Past Pokémon Pokopia events
Some past events may still be accessible by changing the date on your Switch. That method could stop working if the game is patched, so treat it as an option rather than a guarantee.

Zorua hosted this event, built around finding places to hide.

More Spores for Hoppip
Dates: March 9 to March 24, 2026
Can Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff still move in?
The event has ended, but you may be able to meet these Pokémon by using a Pokopia time skip to set your Switch date to an event day. You can then build the right Pokopia habitats to add Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff to your Pokédex.
These are the habitats associated with the cottonweed Pokémon:
Yellow carpet
- Pokémon: Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff
- Requirements: Four dandy flowers
Field-trip friends
- Pokémon: Skiploom
- Requirements: One flower backpack, one lunch box, and one Hoppip water bottle
Dandelion lunchtime
- Pokémon: Jumpluff
- Requirements: One dandy flower, one flower cushion, one lunch box, and one flowery table setting
Where to find cotton spores
Hoppip’s Pokémon Center shop takes cotton spores as payment. They appear on Pokopia Dream Islands, rather than in Withered Wastelands or Rocky Ridges. Find a Drifloon to travel to an island and look for spores scattered across the area.
Press Y beside a spore to pick it up, or hold Y to inhale it along with nearby spores. Bring what you collect back to the Pokémon Center to trade for items.
How Pokopia events work
Pokopia events run for limited periods and typically pair a featured Pokémon with themed furniture or other rewards. The first event lasted several weeks, offering a model that future events may follow with different themes. Events could also return later, though no reruns are confirmed here.
When an event is active, the game displays a message the first time you load in that day, saying a Pokémon is “talk of the town” and directing you to the Pokopia Pokémon Center. Events are available only in towns where the Pokémon Center rebuild is complete; Cloud Islands aren’t included.
